First, it's kinda big. Bigger than I expected. But, the factory installed antenna was broken and cracked, and to properly remove it, I would have had to remove the headliner, C panel liners on both sides and the parcel shelf... Just to get to one nut to remove and replace factory installed antenna. This is a little bigger than factory, allowing me to break away what remained if the antenna on the surface of the car, and install this over it. It came with 3m insisted adhesive strips for this purpose. So I remove the remaining parts of the old antenna and install this one carefully over the old one. Wait 24 hours to ensure a good set. Drive to pick up my son, and when I get back to the house there is no antenna. Apparently the glue they used to make the "carbon fiber" but attach to the frame and rubber seal never set. The antenna is gone. Only the frame remains. While they provided industrial strength adhesive to apply the rubber gasket to the car, the glue they used to glue the gallery to the frame and the frame to the antenna are sub-par. It felt like it was properly set, but on its first freeway drive, the antenna came off on the highway somewhere. Bummer.
