Seems like a good radio. Don't know about battery life etc because I am not using itThis was just what my husband wanted. Small enough to fit in his pocket. Sound quality very clear, able to pick up station that he wasn't even aware off.I bought this to use outside to listen to ball games, it is a nice little radio, but not very loud, so I will use in the house!Louder than expected, Weather band could be a little more clear on stations but works fine.easy set-up, sound is good and wrist strap is a plusGreat radio for its compact design to keep up with our local weather. I don't really use the AM/FM radio so I cannot rate that and I have not had the radio long enough to be able to rate the battery life. I would assume it to have about the standard battery life for other like devices. This is an emergency radio. Its not a portable boombox. So it has to have give you power when there isnt any electricity available: solar cells, winding dynamo, built in battery, and optional AAA battery port... definitely gives you power options. Thats awesome. Gives you a decent flashlight, you wont light up the forest with it, but its not built for that. Its built for personal light in an emergency. 3 radio bands with weather alert and emergency alerts. Main reason for this to be purchased. The one thing is that it doesnt have presets for the radio. That is a comodity which has been standard for years on new electronics. This isnt 1986 where thats a luxury option, it should be standard. Thats the only thing i can hold against it. LCD is great. Speaker sounds fine, its not a B&O system, but lets be serious. It can charge your other electronics too. Overall i would still give it a five compared to many other options. Build quality seems very good too. If issues arise, i will update.Very nice radio it is light and sound is vey good
