I had to call the company to get the player to work. A kind and patient agent guided me through a simple process, but one that was not mentioned in the instruction booklet. I set the controls as he said and wrote down the simple instructios for a 74 year old woman that hs no tech skills. She was able to use this player easily. But, the over the ear style earphones are weird. The way they fit on your head is weird. The sound was too low for her to hear comfortably. I gave her a pair of simple earphones that insert into your ears and she had no problem hearing. I suggest the company provide better earphones, add the instructions the agent gave me to the booklet, and provide a wall charger with the product, not just a car charger. I would buy this product again.
