I think that some government regulation has limited these companies from making the volume level go very loud because this is the sixth pair I've bought and none have been even close as a pair I bought 5 or 6 years ago. They do not go very loud but they do keep the noise out very well allowing you to hear whatever you're listening to. They are by far the most comfortable pair I've had. They do not pick up stations as well other headsets that I have had.If your dad is like mine, he can probably barely even use his phone. So headphones that he can use to listen to the radio make life way easier than him asking a million questions about how to listen to music on his phone. He uses these every time he mowed this summer and loves them.I own two properties, amounting to over 2 acres of grass to mow. I have purchased 3 sets of hearing protectors w/radio over the years (major brand manufacturer.) But when I looked at the features of the ZOHAN, I decided to order it, and use it for a few weeks before submitting a review. I have found it to be an excellent choice! They are reasonably comfortable to wear (although I don't think wearing any headphones while bouncing around on a lawn mower for 2 or 3 hours is truly a "comfortable" experience.) That having been said, these headphones DO block out much of the mower noise, and the radio works well. The four buttons allow the wearer to easily change stations, program only the stations that one likes to easily switch saved stations without looking at the LCD display. The only issue I had was inadvertently programming a station that I didn't want put into memory mode. The direction sheet that comes with the headphones is clear...except it didn't include directions about deleting a saved station. I ended up emailing the manufacturer's support for assistance, and received a quick reply from someone named "Pitt." Very impressive. Hence, I'm including the directions I received. Buying a great product at a fair price, along with good customer support seems to be getting more rare these days...so I was pleased to give this product a well-deserved positive review.Customer service directions for deleting a radio station as follows:1. Short press the M key to choose the channel you want to delete.2. Long press and hold the M button; the numbers on the screen will flash.3. Short press the M button while the numbers are flashing, then the screen will display "---" to confirm the deletion.4. If you need to delete all channels, repeat step 1,2,3 for all saved channels.5. Nothing happens when you short press the M key (there is no number in front of the channel.Everything works and the fit is excellent. The only thing I have a problem with them is the reception. In various locations, the signal fades out, and then if you move 10 ft it receives good again. With that, they work as well as one w/ double the price! If you mow lawns for a living, sooner or later, you end up with a pair of these radio headsets. I've owned several over the years and these seem to be a decent example. It seems like every 5 minutes, a new manufacture pops up in China and makes the same basic headset so nothing earth shockingly new to se with these. I do have one bone to pick with the engineers though, and thats that battery compartment. First, it should have a battery cover that you can secure and remove with a screw. A screw that could easily be turned with a dime or quarter because good knows, we lawn guys always have change in our pockets. Second, the battery compartment itself should be designed so that batteries actually fit there. I don't want to have to get out a hammer every time I put in a couple of batteries that have been used in these things since Jimmy Carter was president. It was for a gift and the person was super happy, he really liked how it sounds, although they put a little pressure on it. It has good material, they are resistant. The last pair of AM/FM head phones my dad had was another brand. The batteries melted in the heat and had to find another. zohan brand and he didn't believe what he was missing. Awesome for backyard work. Crystal clear sound. Comfortable and lightweight. He loves them!!Everything was wonderful then bettery malfunction almost burnt my hair off, if any help with replacement could be given it would be greatly appreciated, it's an awesome productIt worked really well until recently it stopped working and only displays a bunch of random characters. I can't seem to connect with any customer service. The
[email protected] on the warranty does not work. It was only purchased in April 2021. I have a yellow pair that works fine. Don't buy from these people they do not honour their warranty. Promise to send a new one and never didThe sound quality isn't like a set of Bose but the radio works great, the battery lasts hours and while cutting grass or using my chainsaw these are great. The product function AM/FM radio worked fine, the only problem is the very tight fit which can be a little painfull, and uncomfortable after a short while.I have sought info on the internet and found others who share the same problem, they advise stretching the earphones for 2/3 days using the box it came in ,I wait to see if it works as they cannot be worn for longer than 10 minutes at the moment.I use this product when I am mowing the lawn and also when my wife wants some peace and quiet! They fit great and the sound value is terrific. Great buy!I really like these headphones very easy to set up and they sound really good when am operating my boat at work. Makes things alot more pleasant and peaceful. Lol
