I have been using this shower radio for about a year, and I love it.I thought I would be changing the batteries every month or to, but so far I have not even replaced the batteries yet.The reception is VERY GOOD on this radio, and the sound is wonderful.When I'm done showering, I carry this radio all around the house with me while I'm getting ready.This way I can easily listen to my morning news programs with the volume turned down relatively low, and I don't disturb other people early in the morning. Before, I used to turn on our main radio in the middle of the house, but that meant I had to have it on pretty loud, if I wanted to hear it while I was rushing between the closet, the bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room, getting ready. Now I just keep the volume down low and carry this with me using the handle.I also love that the handle opens and swings around like a hook. This make it easy to hang the radio on a towel bar or similar thing in the bathroom. So ... when I'm ready to head out the door, I just hang the radio on the towel bar in the bathroom, and away I go.Wonderful radio. I was thinking of coming back and buying one as a gift, but was dismayed by the price. Did I really pay that much for this little shower radio? I guess I did!!! BUT ... knowing now, how good it is, I can see that it is worth the price. I've tried other shower radios in the past, which were only 20 or 30 dollars, and they had a very weak, tinny sound. Besides, you could only listen to the very few stations that would tune in with relatively little static. Shower radios typically are TERRIBLE! But not this one. This one picks up all the stations in our area, crystal clear. The sound is great, even when you turn it up loud to be heard over the sound of the shower. This is an excellent radio. If you can afford it, buy it!
