The factory radio of the 2003 Corolla is deeply inset on the fore-aft axis of the car, while most aftermarket radios are flat. This kit is a perfect rectangle that doesn't account for the weird shape of the factory dashboard, which means that installing it will leave a gap in front of the radio through which the guts of the dashboard are visible. Even if mine hadn't arrived snapped in half, it wouldn't be worth installing.
