A: These components worked great for converting the factory radio in our 2007 Commander that did not have the factory navigation system installed. These cmponents basically frame a new opening that will house your new double din system. The only issue we had was the installer used a power tool to fasten the trim pieces together and the screws protruded through the outer frame. This can be easily avoided by not over tightening the fasteners. This is also pointed out in the directions that came with the components (but who reads directions, right?). We are completely satisfied with the installation and it actually has the appearance of a factory installed unit.
