This 1990 thru 1994 CD is the final Disc in this eight CD "Only Rock N Roll: #1 Radio Hits" Series that spans forty years from 1955 thru 1994. Each spans five years. All range from okay to excellent. I always did believe the overall quality of music dropped at the beginning of the 1990's but there were several excellent Artists too come out of that early 90's era (some who continued on from The 1980's) and a few of them are here. A few of the #1 highlights on here are Paula Abdul's "The Promise Of A New Day", Stevie B's Beautiful "Because I Love You", Winger's "Miles Away", Tommy Page's "I'll Be Your Everything", Dan Baird's Rockin "I Love You Period", Mr Big's "To Be With You", Divinyl's "I Touch Myself", INXS's "Disappear", The -52's "Roam" & Atlantic Starr's Gorgeous "Masterpiece". Other than this "Only Rock N Roll: #1 Radio Hits" Series: there are five other Series and they are "Only Soul", "Only Country", "Only Dance", "Only Love" and "Only Rock N Roll". Like this Series: "Only Rock N Roll" and "Only Country" also have eight Volumes at five years each. "Only Rock N Roll" also spans from 1955 thru 1994 but "Only Country" spans from 1950 thru 1989. The others have less Volumes and they all end at 1989. There are no Liner Notes (Biography) on the Artists or the Songs but the sound quality on this 1997 Warner Special Products CD is very good. Also check out the other CD's to this Series and the five other Series also......This is the latest one I bought but I have owned a few of these for several years and my very first one I bought was "Only Rock N Roll: 1985 thru 1989" on an Audio Cassette and I bought that about twenty years ago so I am no stranger to these. To me: "Only Rock N Roll: 1985 thru 1989" & "Only Dance: 1985 thru 1989" rank as two of the best along with "Only Country 1970 thru 1974". Two others I rank as two of the best are "Only Country: 1975 thru 1979" & "Only Country 1980 thru 1984" and I have also typed Amazon Reviews on those two. I Recommend this one: And I Highly Recommend a few of the other Volumes! In The 80's: music was not only Great on the radio but Music Video popularity on VH1 & MTV was at its Peak and that's one of the things that makes these so special! Most of these are also very cheap if you buy them used! INXS, Winger, Atlantic Starr, The B-52's & Paula Abdul are five on this CD who were in several Music Videos on VH1 & MTV during the 1980's and everyone remembers Paula Abdul from the more recent and very popular "American Idol" Television Show that was aired for many years during this 21st Century.
