I am keen on radio astronomy as a hobby and this book helped tie a lot of things together for me. I especially liked how he didn't shy away from explaining some specific advances in technology led to specific discoveriesI absolutely loved the book, each time I read it.However, he did a great job of explaining some of the technology, but glossed over some things that should have been explained better. It made parts of the book a bit difficult to follow. If I wasn't already a radio astronomy geek, I don't think I would have gotten enough from the book to have finished it, but I don't think it was intended for the average person on the street.Great this book if you alredy have a basic understanding of what radio astronomy is.
